While Orlando is the capital for theme parks, our hometown also offers an eclectic art scene. If you're looking for something a little different after a day of exploring, head to the Orlando Museum of Art for “Orlando’s Original Art Party.” The museum hosts this special event the first Thursday of every from 6 9 p.m., welcoming visitors and locals for an evening of art, music, and mingling. Admission is only $15 and includes access to the Museum’s current exhibition, which rotates regularly. Tip: parking is complimentary at the Orlando Loch Haven Park.

Through July 8, be sure to check out Enduring Beauty: Seminole Art and Culture, an exhibition featuring works from the largest private collection of Florida Seminole material. Think fashion pieces like embroidered bandolier bags, men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, adorned with patchwork and intricate embroidery, woven baskets, dolls, and accessories.
